Adelaide onballer Rory Sloane is set to miss another chunk of the AFL season because of a fractured cheekbone.
Sloane was hurt in Adelaide's win against Brisbane on Saturday, fracturing the same cheekbone he did in round six.
Adelaide's head of football David Noble says Sloane will consult a surgeon to determine how long he'll be sidelined.
"We'll get Rory into a specialist to decide the best course of action in the next few days," Noble said in a statement on Monday.
"We expect him to miss some weeks but we're not quite sure (how many)."
