Disaster has struck for Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, forced off the court against Atlanta with a knee complaint in his comeback game from a serious ankle injury.
Coming back from a sprained right ankle that forced him to miss the previous six games, Curry got rolled up upon by falling teammate JaVale McGee in a third-quarter collision near the Atlanta basket.
But he still managed to make an impact on the game, scoring 29 points in 25 minutes before the injury.
Golden State went on to beat the Hawks 106-94.
In obvious pain, Curry limped off did not return to the court for the fourth quarter.
Elsewhere, LaMarcus Aldridge poured in a career-high 45 points and Australian Patty Mills has scored 25 as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Utah Jazz 124-120 in overtime.
The Spurs won their sixth straight and beat the Jazz for the first time in four meetings this season.
San Antonio remain sixth in the Western Conference with the same record as fifth-place New Orleans, a half-game behind Oklahoma City for fourth. Utah remained eighth in the West.
