Cyber fraudsters rack up 150 offences

NSW police targeting large-scale online banking fraud have charged three alleged cyber criminals.

Three alleged cyber-criminals have racked up more than 150 fraud-related offences.

Officers targeting large-scale online banking fraud nabbed the alleged culprits on Tuesday.

A 28-year-old man from Rhodes was charged with 128 offences, including knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime and unauthorised access to a computer with criminal intent.

A 29-year-old Sefton man was charged with six offences, including participating in a criminal group.

Both men were refused bail at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday and are due back in court next week.

Police later arrested a 24-year-old Oatlands man following the search of his home, where they allegedly seized computer items and prohibited drugs.

The man has been charged with 31 fraud-related offences.

Further arrests are expected.
