Cyril Rioli's manager has rejected speculation the Hawthorn legend could be lured out of his AFL retirement.

Cyril Rioli's manager has emphatically shut down speculation the retired Hawthorn great could play again in the AFL next season.

After Rioli quit last month, four clubs approached his manager Adam Ramanauskas about whether the 29-year-old could be lured out of retirement.

"And there has been no further conversation from any of those four clubs." He won't be playing. He is going to Darwin to live and start the next phase of his life." Ramanauskas told RSN Radio on Thursday.
