Carlton's Dale Thomas and Troy Menzel remain in line to face Port Adelaide after being cleared of serious injuries.

Thomas (knee and ankle) and Menzel (shoulder) were both unable to play the final quarter of the Blues' six-point loss to Geelong last Friday night.

But the club released a statement on Monday, confirming the talented pair had avoided structural damage and could tackle Port Adelaide on Friday night.

The news was not so good for Brock McLean (calf strain) and David Ellard (ankle strain), with both forced to miss the Adelaide Oval clash.
