The smallest Bulldog took a while to get going in the AFL grand final.
But when the heat was really on, Caleb Daniel - all 168cm of him - stood tall to play his part in a famous 22-point victory over Sydney.
Daniel finished Saturday's epic match with five tackles and 14 possessions, despite not registering a single effective kick or handball in the first quarter.
"The way we believe in each other - I've never been part of a tighter group," said Daniel, the runner-up in this year's Rising Star Award to Swan Callum Mills.
"We just have so much belief in the 22 who run out there each week that they're going to play their role.
"We put our heart and soul into this and we got the win and it's just incredible."
Daniel was well aware of his good fortune at having enjoyed the ultimate success in only his second season at a club which has waited 62 long years to claim a second premiership.
"I see blokes like Matty Boyd and Dale Morris and (injured skipper) Bob Murphy when he got up on stage," said the 20-year-old Daniel.
"They've done 15 years of hard work whereas I'm only in my second year.
"Hopefully it's just the start for me but I'm just loving every minute of this."
