Jason Day is assured of the spotlight at this week's Players Championship, grouped with world No.1 Rory McIlroy and No.2 Jordan Spieth.
World No.7 Day has made no secret of his desire to challenge his even younger rivals for golf's top ranking and will relish the chance to play beside them in the first two rounds of a flagship US PGA Tour event.
All three have won already this year, with 27 year-old Day claiming the Farmers Insurance Open, 21-year-old Spieth famously triumphing at the Masters and 26-year-old McIlroy victorious in the WGC-Match Play on Sunday.
Day's Australian countryman Adam Scott will get just as much attention.
He's been drawn alongside Tiger Woods and Martin Kaymer in a group of three past champions of the event at TPC Sawgrass in Florida.
Woods won in 2001 and 2013 while Kaymer won it last year and world No.9 Scott won in 2004.
