Children who have been found and returned home after being abducted by a parent are the focus of this year's International Missing Children's Day.
Justice Minister Michael Keenan and Australian Federal Police Commissioner Andrew Colvin are set to launch the International Missing Children's Day in Sydney on Wednesday morning.
The day, which is recognised globally on May 25, raises awareness about missing children - those who have found their way home or are still the subject of a search.
Two young people under the age of 18 are reported missing every hour in Australia.
