2013 - The Former editor of Cleo and The Australian Women's Weekly is appointed to the theme park owner's board

March 2015 - Sudden resignation of longtime CEO Greg Shaw and appointment of Ms Thomas triggers a 19 per cent fall in the company's share price

August 2016 - Ardent Leisure sells Goodlife Health Clubs and exercise equipment business Hypoxi for $260 million

Oct 25, 2016 - Four people die on The Thunder River Rapids ride at Dreamworld

Oct 27, 2016 - Ms Thomas donates her $167,500 annual cash bonus to the Red Cross after backlash over the granting of a long-term bonus worth $843,000, and criticism she had not done enough to contact victims' families

Dec 10, 2016 - Dreamworld reopens to the public, $157,000 from ticket sales is donated to the victims' families

Dec 2016 - Ardent Leisure sells its marinas business for $126 million

Feb 2017 - The company slashes the value of Dreamworld by $90 million, sending it to a $49 million half year loss

March 2017 - Ardent Leisure announces Ms Thomas will step down as CEO to become the group's chief customer officer and chief operating officer in Australia from July
