Third-seeded Federico Delbonis advanced to the semi-finals of the Nastase Tiriac Trophy on Friday by beating Marco Cecchinato 6-2 6-2.
The Argentine is seeking his second ATP title this month after winning another clay-court tournament, the Grand Prix Hassan II in Morocco.
Delbonis will next face unseeded Lucas Pouille, who rallied to eliminate seventh-seeded Paolo Lorenzi 4-6 6-4 7-5.
Defending champion Guillermo Garcia-Lopez also advanced, defeating sixth-seeded Guido Pella 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 7-6 (8-6).
The fourth-seeded Spaniard will play either Fernando Verdasco or Robin Haase in the semi-finals.
