Australian Casey Dellacqua's doubles campaign is over at Wimbledon after she and British partner Jamie Murray lost in the quarter-finals.

They were beaten 6-2 3-6 6-3 by Belarusian Max Mirnyi and Taiwan's Hao-Ching Chan in mixed doubles on Friday.

Dellacqua and Ashleigh Barty, finalists last year, were also knocked out of the women's doubles on Thursday.

Samantha Stosur is the sole Australian left in senior competition at the grass court grand slam.

She will contest the mixed doubles semi-finals alongside Serbian playing partner Nenad Zimonjic on Saturday.

Defending Wimbledon men's doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan are back in a grand slam final - their first in four tournaments.

The championship match on Saturday will feature three Americans and a Canadian.

The Bryans beat Michael Llodra and Nicholas Mahut of France 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 6-2 in a semi-final on Friday.

They will play American Jack Sock and Canadian Vasek Pospisil, who beat Leander Paes of India and Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 6-4 in the other semi.

The top-seeded Bryans did not reach the final at any of the past three grand slam tournaments - after winning four major titles in a row before that.

Left-hander Bob and right-hander Mike have a record 15 grand slam doubles titles, including three at Wimbledon.
