Delly eyes game four after hospital

Australian point guard Matthew Dellavedova admits he pushed himself to the physical limit in the Cleveland Cavaliers' latest victory.

Matthew Dellavedova has been released from a Cleveland hospital and will play in game four of the NBA Finals.

The Cavaliers' courageous Australian point guard admitted he pushed himself to the physical limit in Tuesday's 96-91 victory over the Golden State Warriors to take a 2-1 lead.

Dellavedova cramped up after logging 20 points, five rebounds and four assists, throwing himself on the floor for loose balls, diving into the crowd and shutting down Warriors' best player Stephen Curry for the second consecutive game.

He was taken to the Cleveland Clinic where fluids were given to him intravenously.

"I just cramped up a little bit and they thought the best form of recovery was to go to the hospital for a little bit, get an IV," Dellevedova said.

"So, I'm feeling pretty good.

"I trust the medical staff here."

Dellavedova was back at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday for a light shoot around and to watch video of Tuesday's win.

Dellavedova limited Curry to just three first half points.

Curry ended up with 27 points for the game, most coming in the final quarter when Dellavedova wasn't guarding the NBA MVP.

"That's probably the tiredest I've been," Dellavedova, who received rave reviews from Cavaliers' star LeBron James and coach Davod Blatt, said.

"I'm feeling good though now."

The Cavaliers need just two more wins to take the NBA title.

After game four in Cleveland on Thursday (Friday), game five will be in Oakland on Sunday.

If necessary, the seven-game series will move back to Cleveland for game six and then a potential decider in Oakland.
