Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry says he will attack Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Matthew Dellavedova in game five of the NBA Finals.
The competitive match-up between Curry, the NBA's MVP, and Dellavedova, the country Victoria-raised hard-nosed defender, has been the surprise of the finals.
The teams are locked 2-2 in the best-of-seven series with the fifth contest on Sunday (Mon AEST) at the Warriors' Oracle Arena.
Curry said he likes his chances when going one-on-one with Dellavedova.
"Yeah, I have to be more aggressive in those situations and not allow that secondary defender to come," Curry, asked about how he will play the Australian, said on Saturday.
"We have been getting good shots out of those double teams, but I have to be more aggressive attacking the match-ups that we like.
"That's one of them."
Dellavedova said he has recovered from the physical demand the first four games has had on his body.
"I definitely feel better," Dellavedova said.
"The extra days' rest will really help."
