Densham, Moffatt to be triple Olympians

London 2012 bronze medallist Erin Densham and debutants Ashleigh Gentle and Ryan Fisher round out Australia's Olympic triathlon team.

Olympic medallists Erin Densham and Emma Moffatt will become the first Australian triathletes to compete in three Games in Rio after the pair were officially selected by the Australian Olympic Committee on Monday.

London 2012 bronze medallist Densham and debutants Ashleigh Gentle and Ryan Fisher joined already-confirmed selections in Beijing 2008 bronze medallist Moffatt, Aaron Royle and Ryan Bailie in a six-strong team.

Densham and Fisher were selected ahead of promising pair Charlotte McShane and Jake Birtwhistle, who sealed top-10 finishes at this month's world series event in Yokohama.
