There are calls for Wilson Security to be stripped of offshore detention centre contracts after the company was linked to a controversial Panama law firm.

There are calls for Wilson Security to be stripped of detention centre contracts on Nauru and Manus Island after the company was linked to a controversial Panama law firm that helps the rich hide money.

Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young has seized on reports of the company's poor corporate practices.

"Wilson Security were awarded the contracts with little due diligence into their tax structures and now they've been exposed as a client of Mossack Fonseca," Senator Hanson-Young said.
