'Dig deeper' to find Indigenous solutions

Australia's main Indigenous representative organisation has a new leadership team.

 

The editor of the Koori Mail newspaper, Yuwallari woman Kirstie Parker has been elected co-chair of the National Congress of Australia's First Peoples, defeating the incumbent co-chair Jody Broun.

 

The Congress re-elected its male co-chair, Les Malezer, from Queensland.

 

The pair will serve a two-year term starting next month.
