Dinner is coming: Game of Thrones-themed restaurant to open in London

A restaurant featuring the culinary delights of the hit book series and TV show 'Game of Thrones' is set to open in London, but fans will have to be quick to catch a slice of the action.

Lamprey pie and mashed neeps are no longer just for the noble classes of Westeros.

A pop-up restaurant inspired by the immensely popular Game of Thrones series is reportedly set to open in London, featuring medieval dishes enjoyed by the book's (and show's) main characters.

The menu is, for the most part, a closely guarded secret, although it has been revealed that one dish will be based on the ‘Lies of Tyrion Lannister and his Proclaimed Innocence’, containing not guilt, deceit and contempt for patriarchs but poached veal tongue with beetroot, horseradish and mustard.

The restaurant, which will open for just three days later this month, has been dubbed ‘All Men Must Dine’, presumably after punny alternatives ‘The Red Meat Wedding’ and ‘A Lannister Always Savours His Croquettes’ were ruled out.
