Djite named Adelaide Utd football director

Adelaide United have appointed the A-League club's all-time leading scorer Bruce Djite as football director.

Former striker Bruce Djite is returning to Adelaide United as the A-League club's football director.

Djite, Adelaide's leading all-time scorer, replaces Aurelio Vidmar, who quit last February after just five months in the job.

The 32-year-old Djite returns to Adelaide to work with Dutchman Gertjan Verbeek, who was recently appointed United coach for the next two A-League seasons.
