Serbia's world No.1 Novak Djokovic says marriage and the birth of his first child in 2014 "have brought new meaning" and joy to his life, but his professional tennis goals remain unchanged.
"The year 2014 has been the best of my life. I started my family ... I feel more satisfied and complete. I am happy to such an extent that it's hard to express and describe it," Djokovic said in an interview with the holiday edition of the Serbian daily Politika.
The 27-year-old tennis star said his wife, Jelena, was a source of "great support, love and happiness," and their child had given their relationship "additional meaning."
The couple married in July after being together for eight years, and their son, Stefan, was born in October.
"The professional side of my life has not changed much. I train like before, I am dedicated to the game, the commitments, preparation. On the court, I am totally focused on tennis," said Djokovic, who is participating in the Mubadala exhibition in Abu Dhabi ahead of the Australian Open.
Djokovic said his professional goals for 2015 included winning the French Open, the only grand slam title that has eluded him, and staying at No.1 in the world.
