Star Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe sent a scare through the Dockers camp when he left the training field on Friday with a left hamstring issue.

There is good news for Dockers fans, though, with the club revealing the injury is only a minor one.

"It appears to be only a minor hamstring strain," general manager of football operations Chris Bond said.

"He will undergo the normal rehabilitation program for a minor strain."

Fyfe, the 2014 All-Australian, reportedly pulled up gingerly after stretching for a mark during match simulation training.

Fyfe's pre-season was already disrupted after he injured his shoulder last November while preparing for Australia's International Rules clash with Ireland.
