Fremantle coach Ross Lyon says he's confident skipper Matthew Pavlich will be fit to play in Saturday night's clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Pavlich was subbed out of last week's win over North Melbourne because of adductor soreness, but he joined his teammates at training on Thursday.

"I'm confident he'll get through," Lyon said.
