Dog adopts lamb rejected by its mother

A lamb at a farm in Canada has found a new mother in the family dog, after being rejected by its mother.

Stormy the lamb was immediately rejected by her mother at birth. Fortunately, Tammy, the farm owner’s golden retriever bonded with the little lamb and has since taken her into her  care.

The duo spend most of their time lying under trees and playing together, much to the amusement of their owner, Cathy Fluery.
