Since Des Hasler kicked his feet under his desk at Belmore five years ago, Canterbury have had the wood over St George Illawarra.
The Bulldogs are out to ruin the Dragons' day once again on Sunday - and in the process their NRL season.
The equation is simple for the Dragons heading into the ANZ Stadium clash - beat the Bulldogs and jump into the top eight, lose and they can enjoy Mad Monday.
Unfortunately for Paul McGregor and his men, they have been completely dominated by the Bulldogs since Hasler's arrival at the club in 2012.
In that time, Canterbury have won 10 of 11 matches including their last five straight.
During the first week of the 2015 finals, five-eighth Josh Reynolds booted a golden-point field goal to send the Dragons packing and he is keen to repeat the feat.
"If the opportunity arises, I'm going to do it again," said Reynolds who will make his return from a calf strain in what will be his final game for the club.
"It's going to be a good game either way, they've been playing really good lately, especially in that grinding win in Penrith last week.
"I know they're going to be up for the challenge and it'll be good for us because it'll be like a semi-final game."
The Bulldogs have been out of finals contention for the last few months after recording just nine wins this season but are searching for their third win on the trot after defeating Manly and the Gold Coast.
Hasler's side have been criticised for being too conservative and predictable but Reynolds rejects the notion their forgettable year has anything to do with their game plan.
Over the last fortnight they have played a freewheeling brand of football and been unafraid to take the line on.
"I just think it's a bit of confidence, it's always been there," Reynolds said.
"Everyone always throws it out there that it's our structure and this and that.
"But last week watching from the sidelines, the boys played happy football. It's not dropping the ball in our own half, giving away silly penalties.
"It's been smart footy. It's been really good to watch because it has been a draining year for a lot of the boys."
