Canterbury have gambled on youngster Moses Mbye guiding the side around the park in the absence of suspended five-eighth Josh Reynolds.

Cronulla captain Paul Gallen has been named to return against Melbourne after being a late scratching last week.

Jordan McLean has been added to a five-man bench in the Storm's only change.

Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson has been named to return from a groin injury while Queensland outside back Dane Nielsen (concussion) will be absent.

St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor dumped fullback Adam Quinlan with Gerard Beale to move into No.1 and Peter Mata'utia coming into the centres.

Canberra named the same 17 after an improved showing against Parramatta on the weekend.

New Gold Coast coach Neil Henry named an unchanged 17 in his first game in charge however Dave Taylor (neck) is in considerable doubt and David Mead and Albert Kelly could be late inclusions.
