Dogs, Swans cleared by MRP for grand final

Sydney and the Western Bulldogs will line up for Saturday's AFL grand final without any players suspended after the match review panel handed down its findings.

The AFL match review panel has given Sydney and the Western Bulldogs the all-clear for Saturday's grand final.

Bulldogs stand-in captain Easton Wood was cleared over a bump on Greater Western Sydney midfielder Lachie Whitfield in Saturday night's preliminary final at Spotless Stadium, with the contact not considered forceful enough for a sanction.

Whitfield can accept a $1000 fine for trying to strike Jack Macrae and another for making front-on contact with Josh Dunkley, while teammate Rhys Palmer was fined $1000 for rough conduct against Fletcher Roberts.
