The Western Bulldogs are nervously awaiting the outcome of scans on star skipper Katie Brennan's injured ankle.
Brennan kicked two goals against Adelaide at Norwood Oval on Saturday but was helped from the field in the final term after twisting her right ankle.
Led by superstar Erin Phillips with four goals, the Crows inflicted the Dogs' first loss of the season, which was further soured by the injury to Brennan.
She was reported to be wearing a moon boot and on crutches after the game.
Brennan was restricted to just two games in the inaugural AFLW season, with her absence a key factor in the Bulldogs' last-placed finish.
The Dogs have already lost star youngsters Daria Bannister and Isabel Huntington to season-ending knee injuries.
The third-placed Bulldogs are one of five teams with 2-1 records who are equal-top and separated by percentage only.
Carlton will also be sweating on the availability of a star player but Tayla Harris' immediate future is in the hands of AFL match review officer Michael Christian.
Harris will come under scrutiny after she landed a punch to former teammate Leah Kaslar's head.
Collingwood midfielder Sophie Casey will also be closely reviewed for an errant elbow in the second quarter that left GWS forward Cora Staunton with a suspected broken nose.
