'Don't forget cargo pants': Elomar to wife

As the wife of ISIS fighter Mohamed Elomar was planning to travel to Syria to join him, he told her to pack anti-dandruff shampoo and Adidas underwear.

In the days before Fatima Elomar was arrested while trying to join her husband fighting with ISIS in Syria - she wrote: "It's going to be a thrill ride innit."

"Yes babe," Mohamed Elomar said.

"U must dnt forget cargo pants and long sleeve shirt most important."

Fatima, 30, pleaded guilty at Sydney's District Court on Monday to soliciting goods with the intention of supporting her husband's entry into Syria where he was engaged in hostile activities.

Mohamed and his friend Khaled Sharrouf gained notoriety last year when they posed for photos holding the severed heads of enemy fighters.

Months before this happened, court documents reveal a flurry of texts and images were being sent between Mohamed Elomar and his wife throughout 2014 using the message service Tango.

In them he asks her to bring various items, including anti-dandruff shampoo, Adidas pants and underwear, solar watches and long sleeved t-shirts without buttons when she joins him in Syria.

The messages show she had some hesitation.

On March 28, after Mohamed sent her images of a leg with a shrapnel wound, Fatima asks: "Babe will you ever consider coming back home???"

When he says it would be "turning my bk on Allah", she replies.

"No its not babe everything happens for a reason look at yr leg ... I'm telling u ur leg looks heaps bad".

"Babe ... if you only knew the rewards it contains the prophet saw said when the first drop of blood gush from the leg all his sins are forgiven ya ran Allah swt accepts it from me babe," Mohamed replies.

Over the following weeks he continues to ask how her preparations are going, saying "it's amazing here".

Facts state he also sent her various images of himself dressed in camouflage gear and surrounded by weapons, including a rocket launcher.

Meanwhile, on April 8, 2014, Fatima sent an image to her husband of a black ship and sails bearing the ISIL logo.

"Row row row your boat. Sneak up in the stream. Lock n load in Mujadid Mode Islamic State Shaheeeds," she wrote.

When police executed search warrants at Sharrouf's family home in Sydney on April 11, Mohamed tells Fatima to delete everything in her phone in Tango.

"U need to quickly do wat must be done and leave to malay (Malaysia) ASAP ... My dad's house gonna get raided 2 morrow ...I'm not trying to scare you but they will try to arrest u at the airport," he says, adding "you need to be strong".

On April 30 Mohamed allegedly sent her photographs of handwritten notes with directions on what to do and how to avoid ASIO.

After sending her further instructions on what to do once she arrives in Malaysia, Mohamed texts: "Love u 2 tell my mum inshallah if I never c her again I will inshallah c her on the day of judge."

Fatima was arrested at Sydney Airport after customs found bags full of men's clothing.

She faces sentencing proceedings in April.

It's believed Elomar was killed in June this year in a drone strike on the Islamic State's self-declared capital of Raqqa.
