Dozens of SA hospital admissions over heat

Authorities say nearly 100 people have gone to South Australian hospitals complaining of heat-related problems in the past two days.

Almost 40 people with heat-related illnesses have been admitted to South Australian hospitals in the past two days.

SA Health says 96 people went to hospitals for heat-related problems between Wednesday and Friday mornings, and 39 were admitted.

Adelaide and many parts of the state are forecast to swelter through temperatures near or above 40C on Friday after similar maximums on Wednesday and Thursday.
