Dragons ponder Bennett reunion: report

The Dragons are reportedly pondering a reunion with their 2010 NRL Premiership coach Wayne Bennett with his Broncos tenure on shaky ground.

Brisbane mentor Wayne Bennett could make a St George Illawarra comeback, with the Dragons reportedly considering a reunion with their 2010 NRL Premiership coach.

Paul McGregor's tenure is under a cloud and the Dragons are privately discussing a Bennett resurrection for as early as next season if the Broncos axe him, the Courier Mail reports.

Despite being linked to the vacant Penrith post, Bennett has no intention to move to the Panthers and work under general manager Phil Gould, with the Dragons one of only a handful of clubs he's interested in coaching.
