A driver in the US has filmed a large semi-trailer careening off the road on an icy highway in New Jersey.

A driver in the US has filmed a large semi-trailer careening off the road on an icy highway in New Jersey.

The footage shows a semi-trailer crashing through the median strip and just missing the car.

The driver, who uploaded the video online, said in the YouTube post: “I was barely missed”.

"Once I turned off camera, I called in 911 and reported the accident."
