Drug dealer killers sentencing rescheduled

Paulo Stagno and his ex-partner Danielle Kovac will be sentenced next month in WA's Supreme Court over the death of convicted drug dealer Mite Naumovski.

The sentencing of a former couple who killed a convicted drug dealer after luring him to a house has been rescheduled until next month.

Paulo Nunzio Stagno, 30, and Danielle Kovac, 28, were due to be sentenced in the West Australian Supreme Court on Wednesday, but that has been rescheduled until July 17.

In March, a jury acquitted the pair of murder but found them guilty of manslaughter over the shooting death of Mite Naumovski in September 2011.

The pair lured the 38-year-old to a house following a dispute over a drug debt and claimed Stagno acted in self-defence when he shot Mr Naumovski in the head.

Mr Naumovski's body was found with six gunshot wounds in the back of a car less than two weeks after he disappeared.
