Drunk Sydney mum hits car on school run

A Sydney woman has been charged with high-range drink-driving after she allegedly failed to stop after hitting a car on her way to a school pick-up.

An allegedly drunk mother has been charged after crashing into a parked car and failing to stop, during the school run in Sydney's south.

The 43-year-old woman was driving a Lexus SUV when she crashed into a stationary Nissan Navara on Tuesday afternoon in Oyster Bay before continuing to drive to a nearby school, police said.

No one was hurt but the woman has been charged with high-range drink-driving and failing to stop and will face Sutherland Local Court in August.
