The long-running dual citizenship saga could be at an end for current and former federal MPs with the High Court due to rule on writs involving them.
The court is due to issue rulings on writs involving nine current and former federal MPs over the debacle, which caused multiple resignations and by-elections in 2017 and 2018.
Scott Ludlam, Malcolm Roberts, Nick Xenophon, Matt Canavan, Bob Day, Barnaby Joyce, Rod Culleton, Katy Gallagher and Derryn Hinch are listed for determination in the High Court on Wednesday.
But Mr Joyce, who was re-elected to his New England seat after finding out he was a New Zealand citizen, is also listed for a directions hearing.
Mr Roberts also has two hearings listed, along with Mr Ludlam and former Greens senator Larissa Waters.
Section 44 of the constitution bans dual citizens from sitting in federal parliament but a number of MPs had not renounced their citizenship from other countries or were not aware they had it.
