Dumped PUP candidate in WA court

Perennial political candidate Teresa van Lieshout is alleged to have failed to comply with a request by WA police to provide her personal details.

Dumped Palmer United Party candidate Teresa van Lieshout is scheduled to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court charged with failing to comply with a police request.

Ms van Lieshout has previously run unsuccessfully in several elections including the 2013 state and federal elections, the 2014 re-run Senate election in WA and the 2014 Vasse by-election.

It is alleged Ms van Lieshout failed to comply with a request by police to provide her personal details.
