Lawyers for the 21 and 17-year-old women have previously told the Southport Magistrates Court the pair will plead guilty to the high-profile attack on 77-year-old Paul Buttigieg on a bus in Kirra in February.

Lana Janet Watmough, 21, and Layni Gloria Cameron, 17, handed themselves into police after footage of the incident allegedly showing them bashing and racially vilifying Mr Buttigieg went viral.

A video, filmed by a 13-year-old girl on the bus at Kirra on Tuesday, allegedly shows the pair, punching, kicking and spitting at Mr Buttigieg.

One woman can also be heard allegedly saying to the victim: "Oh bro, we're in Abo land."

After the assault, Mr Buttigieg can be heard telling other passengers that he couldn't see his attackers because he was partially blind.
