Dusty looks set to win AFL's Brownlow

Facts and figures ahead of Monday night's Brownlow Medal count, where Richmond onballer Dustin Martin will be the hot favourite.

* FAVOURITES

Dustin Martin (Richmond)

TAB Sportsbet $1.01 William Hill $1.03

The odds have never been this short for the main Brownlow fancy. A career-best season, despite months of speculation about his future before he signed the mega-deal to stay at Richmond. Could break Patrick Dangerfield's record last year of 35 votes.

Tom Mitchell (Hawthorn)

TAB Sportsbet $9.00 William Hill $12.00

Relished the move from Sydney and broke the AFL record for the most disposals in a season. The ball magnet racked up 50 disposals in the round-nine loss to Collingwood.

Josh Kelly (GWS)

TAB Sportsbet $17.00 William Hill $17.00

Like Martin, flourished despite being the subject of a lot of talk about where he might play next year. He also eventually stayed put. Kelly will poll well early in the count.

Rory Sloane

TAB Sportsbet $51.00 William Hill $67.00

Enjoyed a strong start to the season, with four games in a row where he had 30-plus disposals. But Sloane struggled at times as opponents tagged him more often. Not enough big games to challenge Martin - and teammate Matt Crouch will probably take votes from him.

* Dangerfield's one-game suspension for rough conduct in round 19 made Martin the outright favourite. Essendon's Zach Merrett is also ineligible because of suspension. Corey McKernan (1996) and Chris Grant (1997) were ineligible and polled the most votes. Jobe Watson won the 2012 Brownlow, but the AFL took it off him last year because of his doping suspension
