Dylan Walker has been brought into the NSW squad as 19th man, as backline cover for State of Origin II.

Walker played in South Sydney's loss to the Wests Tigers on Friday night and was called into the Blues' camp on Saturday morning at Coffs Harbour.

The Rabbitohs' premiership winner made his Test debut last year, playing four Tests during the Four Nations campaign, but is yet to make his Origin debut.

He made his NSW City debut last year, but was ruled out of this year's fixture due to injury.

Tariq Sims was brought into the NSW squad on Friday as 18th man as forward cover, after Tyson Frizell was forced to withdraw due to a back injury.
