After creating a four-point buffer at the top of the NRL ladder, Manly say they are eyeing their first minor premiership in 17 years.
The Sea Eagles put one hand on top spot when they moved two wins clear of South Sydney, Penrith and Canterbury last weekend.
Their win over the Warriors in New Zealand at the business end of the season proved especially crucial after the Panthers and Bulldogs both suffered upset losses.
The Sea Eagles have been arguably the most dominant team of the past decade, reaching four of the past seven grand finals and winning two titles.
However, they have not claimed a minor premiership since 1997 and prop Brenton Lawrence says the squad has targeted the achievement this season.
"I think it's something we're aware of but not getting carried away with it," he said.
"The guys, while they've won two grand finals, haven't won a minor premiership, so it's something that I would personally like to achieve.
"After 26 very tough rounds in the competition, it's very close. To finish on top is a great achievement.
"We just really need to keep winning more games and that's what we've been focused on all year."
They will face a wounded Brisbane at home on Friday however Lawrence said they were wary of Anthony Griffin's team.
The Sea Eagles have lost just one of their past seven starts and have been installed as premiership favourites.
They have been beaten at home only once this year, a one-point loss to Melbourne in the opening round, while the Broncos are on the slide after four losses from their past five games.
Lawrence said the Sea Eagles' pack left Suncorp Stadium with their egos bruised after the Broncos romped over them 36-10 in round 12.
He said the match was still fresh in his mind and they would be hungry for revenge on Friday night.
"We need to consider the last time we played them; we didn't really play our best at all," he said.
"We let them roll through the middle a little bit more. It's something I take a bit personally.
"But we're back at Brookvale and we've had a good run at Brookvale this year and we'll be focused on continuing that."
