Parramatta and their provisionally suspended officials have been granted more time to respond to last month's NRL salary cap breach notices.
After initially having until Friday to answer to alleged rorting of the cap, the Eels will have until next Friday to explain why they shouldn't be stripped of their 12 competition points.
The club's five provisionally suspended officials have less time to save their jobs, with the NRL only giving them until Wednesday to prove why they shouldn't be de-registered by the league.
The Eels were also fined $1 million by the NRL last month after allegedly overspending the cap by $3 million since the start of 2013, and exceeding it in five of the past six seasons.
Chairman Steve Sharp, CEO John Boulous, deputy chairman John Issa, director Peter Serrao and football manager Daniel Anderson all face being de-registered.
The Eels, who have the bye this week, must win 11 of their remaining 12 games to make the finals.
They will also have to do it without embattled skipper Kieran Foran, who is out for the rest of the year with a shoulder injury and has been in and out of rehabilitation for personal issues.
Foran's injury was just the latest in a string of brutal blows to the club, who were forced to push hooker Nathan Peats to Gold Coast to get back under the cap, and released Junior Paulo early to Canberra.
