Parramatta have moved to shore up their playing roster in the wake of Kieran Foran recommitting to the NRL club, announcing the re-signing of seven players on Sunday.
Forwards Pauli Pauli, Peni Terepo and David Gower have re-signed with the Eels until the end of 2017, while Kaysa Pritchard, Vai Toutai and Joseph Ualesi have done likewise until the end of 2016.
Under-20s fullback fullback Bevan French will be with the club until at least the end of 2018.
Coach Brad Arthur hailed the signings as an important move for the future of the Eels.
"These players have all worked hard and earned their place in the Parramatta Eels' squad, and I'm happy to be coaching them into the future," Arthur said.
"They have all brought a lot to our side both in training and on the field, and can still make plenty of improvements to their game to strengthen our side the next few years."
Foran recommitted to the club last week following his contract imbroglio.
