Parramatta forward Peni Terepo has been hit with a grade-two careless high tackle for a swinging arm in the Eels' NRL win over Canberra.

Parramatta forward Peni Terepo is facing a four-game NRL ban for a swinging arm in the Eels' 22-16 win over Canberra on Saturday.

Terepo was on Sunday stung with a grade two reckless high tackle charge for his first-half shot on Jordan Rapana which drew blood from the nose of the Raiders winger.

Eels big man Terepo will miss three matches if he takes the early guilty plea.
