The Melbourne printing firm accused of being involved in an allowances scam with a senior government MP has not submitted an invoice to parliament in six years.

Deputy president of the legislative council, Khalil Eideh, requested his office undergo a complete audit after he was accused of working with FM Printing to rort money from parliamentary printing allowances to fund ALP branch stacking.

"It was not something at this stage I had insisted upon or sought, Mr Eideh himself has requested that audit and it will occur," President Bruce Atkinson told parliament on Thursday.

He also said FM Printing "has not submitted any invoices to the parliament since 2011 and indeed certainly had none in respect of Mr Eideh".

But three Labor MPs have used FM Printing, Special Minister of State Gavin Jennings told upper house question time on Thursday.

Mr Eideh was accused by opposition leader Matthew Guy under parliamentary privilege on Wednesday of being a part of a ruse to get money from MP printing allowances to fund ALP memberships using fake invoices through FM Printing.

Both Mr Eideh and FM Printing deny any wrongdoing.

On Thursday, Mr Guy also used parliamentary privilege to name a second company, Cheson Printing, as being involved - to the complete surprise of the firm.

Gary Celebioglu said he wanted an apology from Mr Guy after his company was named during question time, because Cheson Printing has not done work for any politicians since about 2008.

"I don't think he should be going and making unsubstantiated allegations with his parliamentary privilege," Mr Celebioglu told AAP.

"He's not in a position to talk to this himself, because he's also done things like that dinner," he said, referring to Mr Guy's lobster dinner with an alleged mafia figure.

All MPs are being audited for their printing invoices after the Herald Sun used unnamed sources to report allegations of the scam by unnamed MPs.

In announcing the audit on Wednesday, Mr Atkinson said the allegations put a cloud over all parliamentarians.

Premier Daniel Andrews on Thursday repeated his call for anyone with information to go to Victoria Police.
