A man in his 70's has been hospitalised with cuts and abrasions after he was attacked by an aggressive goat on a rural property near in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Paramedics found the man at the Tallai property on Friday morning after the struggle with the horned beast.
As paramedics were unable to get hold of the goat themselves, police were forced to step in to wrangle and bind the runaway animal.
The man has been taken to Robina Hospital for further treatment while the local council has taken possession of the goat and will investigate the incident.
