An elderly man has been found dead on a pavement in inner Sydney.
He was found slumped against a wall at the intersection of Harris and William Henry Streets in Ultimo about 4.30am on Wednesday.
Police said they were still trying to identify the man, who was dead when emergency services arrived.
"As this is an unexplained death, it is being treated as suspicious until information indicates otherwise," they said in a statement.
A crime scene has been established.
