An elderly man has gone missing while hiking with friends in Victoria's Alpine region.
Leslie Southwell, 88, became separated from his friends on Thursday while they were walking the 4.7km track from Cleve Cole Memorial Hut to Michelle Hut.
Search and rescue teams have been deployed to find Mr Southwell, who is described as about 167cm tall with a thin build and short grey hair, and is carrying three days worth of food and provisions.
