Elderly Qld woman dies after assault

Two days after she was found with head injuries in a Fraser Coast home, a 75-year-old woman has died in hospital.

An elderly woman has died in hospital after an alleged assault on Queensland's Fraser Coast.

The 75-year-old was found with severe head injuries at an Eli Waters home on the weekend and died in hospital on Monday.

A 60-year-old man has been questioned over the matter but released without charge.
