Elders preparing capital raising

Elders is in a trading halt ahead of announcing details of a capital raising and the purchase of hybrid securities by one of its controlled businesses.

Agribusiness group Elders has gone into a trading halt ahead of announcing details of a capital raising.

Elders said it will also use the trading halt - set to last until trade starts on Friday - to detail an on-market offer by one of its controlled entities to buy its hybrid securities.

Shares in Elders last traded at $3.63.
