England have secured third place in the Netball World Cup, defeating Jamaica 66-44 in the bronze medal match in Sydney on Sunday.
The world No.3 Roses trailed by five goals after the first quarter, but hit back in the second term with 17 goals to the fourth-ranked Sunshine Girls' seven to head into halftime with a 28-23 advantage.
From there they only pulled away further, shooter Jo Harten leading the way with 52 goals from 59 attempts, while her Jamaican counterpart Romelda Aiken sank 26 from 28.
The result equals England's third placing in Singapore four years ago.
The side's best result at a world titles was runner-up in 1975 in Auckland, New Zealand.
