England hold a firm grip on the second Test against Pakistan at lunch on the third day at Headingley.

Pakistan started their second innings 189 runs behind after England had been dismissed for 363 earlier on Sunday.

And Pakistan were soon in trouble as James Anderson (2-23) and Stuart Broad (1-16) reduced them to 3-48 - still 141 runs behind.

Anderson beat Azhar Ali (11) all ends up with a full delivery before Haris Sohail (8) drove him to the diving Dom Bess at mid-off.

Broad then removed Asad Shafiq (8) with a TV review confirming that the Pakistan batsman had gloved the ball down the legside to wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow.

England had resumed on 7-302 and Jos Buttler extended the lead in typical hard-hitting fashion, his unbeaten 80 coming from 101 balls and consisting of 11 fours and two sixes.
