English golf teen Hull for Ladies Masters

Seventeen-year-old English golf star Charley Hull has entered the Australian Ladies Masters.

Brilliant English teenager Charley Hull has joined the field for the Australian Ladies Masters, where Karrie Webb will chase a record-breaking ninth title.

Seventeen-year-old Hull is coming off a great rookie year on the Ladies European Tour where she started with four consecutive runner-up finishes and had another five top-10s in her 14 events while also playing well on Europe's winning Solheim Cup team.

Hull and fellow Solheim Cup star Caroline Hedwall of Sweden were confirmed on Thursday for the Ladies Masters at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast from February 6-9.

They'll take on the likes of Australia's Webb, Katherine Hull-Kirk, Rebecca Artis, Stacey Keating, Kristie Smith and Lindsey Wright.

When former world No.1 Webb won the Ladies Masters last year she matched Sam Snead (Greater Greensboro Open) with her eighth win in the same tournament.

They have since been joined by Tiger Woods who brought up his eighth wins at both the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines and WGC-Bridgestone Invitational last year.
